Job Overview
Reports to: Regional Operations Manager – Sudbury Hard Rock.
Shift: 5 x 2, Mon – Fri, 8 - hours per day
Location: Sudbury, Ontario
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation.
Primary Role Responsibility
The parts service and sales representative must possess or be able to learn the knowledge about Komatsu products or services offered. Effectively communicate the benefits of these offerings to potential customers, answer any questions, provide accurate information regarding pricing and delivery times, handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and work with other departments within the company to resolve any issues. The primary function is to liaison with customers and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Participate and be committed to a strong safety culture to achieve organizational safety goals and culture of Komatsu.
- Provide first-contact support to customers. Receive and action part orders.
- Carry out sales opportunities for all Hard Rock product lines, focusing on parts, service products, and support.
- Build strong working relationships with relevant customers and co-workers.
- Assist as required in any physical inventory counts of consignment stock.
- Ability to respond to on-call duties as needed, acting on potential delivery requests.
- Coordinate with teams on invoicing, warehousing, returns, credit functions and buyers.
- Coordinate freight and delivery functions when required.
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Certification in office management, or related programs is beneficial.
- The ability to communicate effectively with Customers and internal team members.
- Ability to travel if required.
- Able to demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving.
- Self-motivated; adaptable to change with strong organizational skills.
- Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Fluent in computer literacy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP) system experience.
- Candidate must be detailed orientated and have a high level of accuracy, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
