Job Overview
1. Own Product Management Operating System & Portfolio
a. Accountable for establishing and enforcing the Crushing Product Management Operating Standard across the global portfolio, ensuring clear ownership, lifecycle management, profitability performance, and alignment to strategic growth objectives.
2. Lead Strategy, Roadmap & Lifecycle Management
a. Own development and execution of short and long-term product roadmaps aligned to strategic pillars, including new product development, product enhancements, and lifecycle management to drive growth, installed base expansion, and aftermarket performance.
3. Institutionalize Voice of Customer & Market-Driven Growth
a. Establish and enforce structured VOC processes translating field, dealer, and customer insights into validated roadmap actions, enabling diversification and expansion across mining, cement, aggregates, and industrial minerals.
4. Own Product Value, Competitiveness & TCO
a. Own product value, competitiveness, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including structured competitive analysis to inform differentiation, pricing, and roadmap decisions.
5. Ensure Product Development, Testing & Validation
a. Lead and govern NPD execution, ensuring safety is a foundational design requirement in all products, validated through structured testing and reference site development for performance, reliability, and application fit.
6. Own Commercial Readiness & Go-To-Market Enablement
a. Ensure full commercial readiness across direct and dealer channels, including tools, training, and value messaging, enabling effective product adoption and sales execution.
7. Drive Cross-Functional Execution & Build High-Performance Teams
a. Lead, align, and develop Product Management and Applications teams while driving cross-functional execution across Business Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Product Support, and Finance.

1. Product portfolio management including formal product definition, lifecycle tracking, and gap analysis
2. Own product competitiveness including TCO, margin, and differentiation
3. Ensure alignment between product capability, application requirements, and customer expectations, including validation of performance, specifications, and operating parameters.
B. Drive Market & Commercial Execution
4. Drive ongoing commercial readiness and training enablement across regions and dealers
5. Ensure new product launch readiness and post-launch performance tracking
C. Governance
6. Define and enforce the NPD governance framework as part of the Product Management Operating Standard, including prioritization, stage-gate discipline, and cross-functional alignment to ensure delivery of strategic and financial outcomes.
7. Provide product-level inputs to support forecasting accuracy, including lifecycle transitions, product availability, and demand-shaping factors.

D. Build & Validate the Product
8. Own and execute structured product validation plans, including field testing and reference site validation, ensuring product performance, reliability, and application fit are validated through real-world application.
9. Ensure validation results are documented, communicated, and integrated into product decisions, roadmap prioritization, and commercial messaging.
E. Enable Lifecycle Value
10. Ensure products are designed to support aftermarket growth by incorporating serviceability, parts strategy, and lifecycle considerations that enable Product Support to maximize installed base value and profitability.
F. Fund & Measure the System
11. Define and manage capital and development investment requirements, including CapEx for testing infrastructure, NPD funding, and demo/proving equipment, ensuring all investments prioritize safety, compliance, and risk mitigation while supporting validation and commercial success.
12. Ensure VOC pipeline execution and measurable response timelines
13. Lead quarterly Product Health Scorecard reviews across all product lines
Qualifications/Requirements
1. 12+ years of progressive experience in product management, engineering, commercial, or related roles within mining, construction, industrial, or capital equipment environments.
2. Demonstrates progressive experience owning a product line or portfolio, with clear accountability for performance, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and lifecycle management from introduction through phase-out.
3. Makes and owns trade-off decisions that impact product performance, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, cost, and profitability.
4. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate market insights, customer needs, and financial objectives into actionable product strategies and measurable outcomes.
5. Possesses deep understanding of product application in real operating environments, connecting product design and performance to customer outcomes in the field.
6. Demonstrated experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams in a global environment, with a strong track record of collaboration across engineering, commercial, and operational functions.
7. Experience driving disciplined execution through structured processes, governance, and operating rhythms, with accountability for delivering results.
8. High level of emotional intelligence, including effective communication, active listening, and the ability to build trust and align diverse stakeholders.
9. Operates effectively in complex, global, or matrixed environments, navigating competing priorities while maintaining focus on strategic outcomes.
10. Experience from mining, construction, industrial, capital equipment, or similarly complex product environments where lifecycle performance and application fit are critical.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
