Job Overview

Wind used AC stator core and DC armatures, replace DC main and inter coils, rework 

Salvage core iron. Testing of AC stator, DC armatures plus main and inter coils.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Install windings in core iron to meet the Komatsu Standards.
  • Test winding to meet the Komatsu standards
  • Press together core iron and commutator on shaft.
  • Pre balance all armature core and shaft.
  • Check motors for permissibility to meet the Komatsu Standards.
  • Perform Motor Associate and Motor Assembly duties.
  • Perform other assignments at the direction of departmental supervision.
  • Obey all safety rules and perform housekeeping functions.

Qualifications/Requirements

Two-years' experience in large motor repair and motor winding. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts. Successful testing will be required

Able to work any shift

Able to work overtime 

Able to work weekends
