You’ll work on big builds, remote sites, and high‑impact projects that few tradespeople ever get to experience. Reports to: Project Superintendent 
Shifts: 7x7 or 14x14, 8-12h a day
Location: Our office is based in Edmonton, but this role will travel all over Canada for project based work
Allowances: Additional premiums and allowances are associated with this position
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: 100% within Canada and potentially the USA
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical code specifications
  • Test electrical components for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance
  • Maintain, repair, and install motors, generators, batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with multiple trades and supervisors on large‑scale equipment builds
  • Uphold strict safety standards, PPE use, and clean work practices

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification
  • 4–8 years of industrial electrical experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, make sound decisions, and work independently
  • Experience with PLC wiring, high‑voltage terminations, and power systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer‑focused mindset
  • Ability to safely lift 50lbs unassisted, work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and in all weather
  • Fully able to travel interprovincially, work remotely for extended periods and have no restrictions for access to any mine site across Canada and the US
