Job Overview


KAC distributes equipment and parts in North America through a retail dealer network. In the US, KAC owns dealerships in 10 states with 26 branch locations. Most sales of new and RTS inventory involve marketing funds available through out OEM partners.  The Sales Administration Manager will be responsible for activities in support of sales and finance teams to ensure all program are filed for timely, extended warranties are purchased and sales submissions sheets are properly completed to maximize sales gross profit

Scope

The Sales Administration Manager is responsible for timely registration of all new machine sales, warranty purchases needed for all equipment sales, and timely submissions for all Marketing program dollars to minimize the invoice-to-cash cycle.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Remains current on applicable programs and processes to ensure a high level of accuracy on submitted documentation
  • Assist with development, roll out, and maintenance of internal SOP's
  • Reviews sales contracts for accuracy and provides recommendations/suggestions on corrections to ensure customers are able to use appropriate marketing programs
  • Evaluates sales rep worksheet and leverage program knowledge to optimize claims to maximize sales gross profit
  • Maintains appropriate internal controls regarding documentation on the financial closure, reporting, and processes on the invoice-to-cash lifecylce
  • Processes and optimizes machine sales marketing claims timely and accurately for machine sales
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of Komatsu and allied partner programs as well as systems to process claims
  • Coordinates with the Regional Sales Teams on program claims
  • Attentive to claims to ensure any rejected claims are resubmitted accordingly.
  • Processes ad-hoc program claims for special program initiatives
  • Responsible for program reporting and analysis to ensure programs are effective in meeting Company store needs
  • Processes all new machine registrations and extended warranty purchases (OEM or Third Party), including Komatsu Advantage Warranty, K-Care Certified, and K-Care Plus Maintenance Programs   
  • Performs other duties as assigned           

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, General Management or equivalent education / experience required.  
  • Be well versed in commercial equipment sales process, including, pricing, reviewing, and approving equipment for sales.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze retail deals and offer customer the best financial solution that will meet their needs, while minimizing our risks and cost.
  • Strong Leadership ability:  Must demonstrate qualities of action-oriented leadership, administrative ability, and public relations skills. Ability to plan, initiate, direct, and carry out short and long-term programs.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to understand company owned distribution budget requirements and achieve results with minimal direction
  • Good interpersonal skills/effective communicator: successful candidate must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present in small or to large groups is preferred
  • Knowledge of dealer/database software, Internet software, manufacturing software, lender financial systems, and order processing systems
  • Limited travel requirements, however, travel is required as necessary
  • Physical Requirements:  While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.  Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
