Job Overview
We have a newly created role for an Infrastructure Analyst to join our IT team. This role can be based at our sales/service location in Harrisburg, PA or Hatfield, PA. This role will serve as an escalation point for a team of Desktop Support Techs, providing advanced troubleshooting, problem solving and research for all levels of IT and the US based user community.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Analyze, test, implement and support the rollouts of new client technologies such as PC’s, laptops, tablets and mobile end point devices. New technologies will also include Enterprise Network Systems infrastructure (switches, access points, firewalls, etc.)
- Provide hands on support configuring and racking switches, opening ports, setting proper Vlans, etc.
- Maintain and monitor Antivirus, Cybersecurity tools, configuring maintaining our software.
- Work with cabling vendors for new network drops and ISPs for new circuit installs.
- Provide advanced data analytics of daily ticket data, and problem escalation trends and deliver solutions based on those trends for the Desktop Support Techs
- Develop and maintain technical process and procedure documentation.
- Testing of new client technologies and new end point devices before they are deployed.
- AD administration including the provisioning of user accounts, computer accounts and security access
- Scheduled off hour projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft client operating systems.
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft DNS, DHCP, SCCM and Active directory
- 3+ years of experience supporting IT networking equipment
- Microsoft Certifications preferred but not necessary
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues into laymen’s terms both within IT and with all levels of the organization
- Must be proficient in researching computer related issues to resolve problems
- Excellent time management, and multi-tasking ability.
- Strong leadership skills working in a group environment.
