Are you a motivated and organized student looking to gain hands-on Human Resources experience in a fast‑paced and supportive environment? We’re looking for an HR Student to join our Fort McMurray team for the summer term (May–August). What You'll Do
As our HR Student, you will support the team through a mix of project work and day‑to‑day tasks, including:
- Safety Passport Implementation: Assist with rollout, tracking, communication, and coordination with employees
- Policy Updates: Support updates and other administrative changes
- Office Support: Provide general office and administrative assistance as needed
- SharePoint Organization: Help clean up, reorganize, and enhance our SharePoint sites for improved usability
- Reporting & Analytics (Nice to Have): Support HR reporting; Power BI skills would be an asset for building dashboards or refreshing existing reports
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Currently enrolled in a Business, Human Resources, or related university program
- Highly organized, dependable, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working with confidential information
- Tech‑savvy with strong attention to detail
- A great communicator with a positive, can‑do mindset
- Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, or data visualization is an asset, but not required
