Key Job Responsibilities

· Maintain an annual repair efficiency of at least 85%.

· Ensure rework hours remain under 3% of billed hours.

· Adhere to standard repair times and achieve balanced scorecard goals.

· Prioritize safety and comply with all regulations.

· Manage documentation and implement contamination control measures.

· Provide accurate quotes and excellent customer service.

· Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, testing all repairs thoroughly.

· Thoroughly test and validate the functionality of all repairs made and adjustments performed.

· Apply general failure analysis procedures for effective troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues.

Qualifications/Requirements

· High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Flexibility to accommodate various work schedules, including shift work

Skills:

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Proficiency in basic arithmetic and computer skills.

· Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.

· Mechanical knowledge.

Additional Information

· Certification to operate a forklift and/or manlift required.

· MSHA certification and respirator certification may be necessary.

· Possession of a basic mechanics toolset required.

· Valid Driver’s License
