Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 8 full-time Warehouse Technicians and 1 full-time truck driver, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Oversee the logistics and inventory management practices at the Elko, NV warehouse to ensure efficient shipping and receiving of parts.
- Manage non-conforming parts, ensuring timely and accurate shipments back to manufacturers according to Q3 guidelines.
- Implement and assist with inventory cycle counts, ensuring accuracy in documentation for write-ons and write-offs.
- Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports transparently to monitor warehouse performance and progression, addressing any issues promptly as they arise.
- Ensure a well-maintained warehouse, including proper organization of racking systems and inventory locations in both the main warehouse and yard.
- Coordinate the ordering of all necessary goods, including consumables for shipping and receiving processes essential for warehouse operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in warehouse management is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, showcasing a strong understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively lead a team and liaise with cross-functional departments.
- Proficiency in SAP, CDK, and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong ability to analyze data and streamline processes.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred, highlighting an ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- MSHA training is optional but considered beneficial for ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
