Job Overview

Key Job Responsibilities
- Insure a safe working environment by overseeing equipment, machine operations, and housekeeping standards. Enforce all Facility, Department, and Company safety rules and procedures while promoting a comprehensive Safety-First mindset and culture within the team.
- Adhere to guidelines and policies established by Planning and Production Managers, and the Field Manager to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Continuously monitor and audit service jobs to ensure clients receive high-quality services that operate as designed, maintaining optimum dependability and productivity. Understand that quality is an ongoing improvement process that necessitates adaptation and revision of procedures.
- Effectively coordinate and schedule work based on day-to-day tasks, planned outages, and emergency breakdowns initiated by customers, ensuring timely service completion.
- Under general supervision, manage the planning activities for the assigned maintenance department, prioritizing tasks in collaboration with customer needs and labor availability from Komatsu.
- Utilize appropriate systems and worksheets to achieve planning and scheduling objectives, demonstrating proficiency with technology.
- Take responsibility for job planning, scheduling, communication, material preparation, and the overall scope of work development.
- Collaborate with supervisors to initiate jobs, procuring necessary materials required for the successful execution of tasks.
- Plan and coordinate external resources such as accommodation, rentals, and transportation logistics, maintaining daily interactions with vendors.
- Receive and verify materials and parts for service needs as required.
- Monitor job costs meticulously, ensuring adherence to budget and correct allocation of expenses related to each job.
- Generate and analyze cost reports for management review, engaging in discussions with supervisors and managers to drive informed decisions.
- Prepare preliminary invoices and communicate effectively with customers regarding billing.
- Utilize electronic record-keeping systems, such as Teams and SharePoint, to ensure all documents are accurately filed, scanned, and maintained in the appropriate structures.
- Assist in managing special projects as assigned by supervisors and managers, fostering innovation and efficiency throughout the process.
- Handle shared labor projects across ERP systems cohesively, ensuring clarity and coordination as a single unit.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education and/or experience equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED, along with advanced training or coursework leading to a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth.
- Proven ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of site processes, equipment functionalities, and infrastructure systems.
- Expertise in utilizing computer databases to research, maintain, and update essential records and files, showcasing attention to detail.
- Excellent communication capabilities, enabling effective verbal and written interaction with diverse audiences.
- Solid understanding of basic preventive maintenance practices concerning assigned equipment, safeguarding operational readiness.
- Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions, demonstrating a proactive approach to safety and the ability to recognize potential risks.
- Familiarity with software applications, including SAP, CDK, MS Office, and Gantt Charts, essential for managing planning processes.
- Understanding of machine component layouts to enhance efficiency in task performance and resource allocation.
