Key Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a business partner to the Regional Manager, supporting financial goals and business initiatives.
- Provide accounting support including GAAP compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley controls, SAP/CDK system support, and process improvement.
- Analyze and communicate key financial data to leadership; identify opportunities for improved processes and results.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; prepare annual and quarterly income statement and balance sheet plans.
- Review cost center data, sales margins, purchase price variances, and manufacturing variances; communicate findings to leadership.
- Support machine and rental contract reviews to ensure appropriate terms and revenue recognition.

Manage financial aspects of machine closeouts, WIP reviews, inventory initiatives, regional reserves, and oversee A/R and collections.

Assist internal and external auditors during financial audits and ensure proper internal controls.
- Review and approve regional capital expenditure requests and perform financial analysis to support business decisions.

Perform manual journal entries and manage internal orders for proper accounting and timely processing.

Lead and develop a team of four, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (required).
- CPA or MBA (preferred).
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Experience in mining, construction, or manufacturing industries is an asset.
- Strong understanding of inventory cycles, warehouse operations, and OE financial management.
- Proficiency in financial management, strategic planning, and variance/margin analysis.
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office); excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
