Position Summary: Maintains the plant in a clean and orderly condition, empties trash cans, cleans equipment, moves material, sweeps and performs other inter-departmental functions (painting, sandblasting, steam cleaning). Tools and
Equipment: Hoist, crane, fork truck, steam cleaner, sandblaster, paint booth, grinder, parts washer, tape, vehicle, band saw, etc.
Sample Work Procedure:
- Maintains plant in a clean and orderly condition by sweeping floors and emptying trash containers.
- Periodically operates fork truck and hoists to move material.
- Operates steam cleaner to clean parts and equipment.
- Operates parts washer to clean parts and equipment.
- Operates sandblaster to remove undesired surface finishes.
- Operates paint booth
- Operates band saw
- Fills up gas bottles for fork trucks
- Drives pick-up truck or car for local pick-up of miscellaneous supplies.
- Must obey all safety rules associated with the equipment operated.
- Performs other labor functions as directed.

Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $20.53/hour. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
