PRIMARY FUNCTION

Maintains the plant in a clean and orderly condition, empties trash cans, cleans equipment, moves material, sweeps and performs other inter-departmental functions (painting, sandblasting, steam cleaning).

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

Hoist, crane, fork truck ,  steam cleaner, sandblaster, paint booth, grinder, parts washer, tape, vehicle, band saw, etc. 

SAMPLE WORK PROCEDURE

1. Maintains plant in a clean and orderly condition by sweeping floors and emptying trash containers. 
2. Daily operates fork truck and hoists to move material.
3. Operates steam cleaner to clean parts and equipment.
4. Operates parts washer to clean parts and equipment.
5. Operates sandblaster to remove undesired surface finishes.
6. Operates paint booth
7. Operates band saw
8. Changes out tanks for fork trucks
9. Drives pick-up truck or car for local pick-up of miscellaneous supplies.
10. Must obey all safety rules associated with the equipment operated.
11. Performs other labor functions as directed.
