Job Overview
Komatsu is embarking on a global initiative to transform our website experiences. This role will be responsible for bridging the gap between regional marketing strategies and technical delivery teams. You will be the primary point of in-take for marketing technology support requests for keeping new website builds on-track, as well as on-going campaign support. You will support, govern and drive the successful delivery of all features utilizing the Adobe Marketing Technology stack spanning; Adobe Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, Forms and OneTrust. You will collaborate with marketing and IT teams to define, prioritize and execute website migrations and marketing technology support.
Key Job Responsibilities
Product management
• Stakeholder engagement: proactively meet with regional stakeholders to review and define their current and future marketing technology requirements
• Roadmap: proactively support the adoption of best-practices and delivery of prioritized set of new capabilities
• Discovery: Host discovery sessions and interviews with regional teams to understand the scope of their website functionality and document and detail all build requirements in ADO
• Analysis: Map and document current and future state business processes, data flows, and system integrations relevant to the website.
• Tech translation: partner with marketing and product teams to document and translate business requirements to technical teams
• Backlog: Maintain and manage a prioritized requirements backlog, ensuring traceability and transparent list of tickets to accomplish business goals
• User stories: write user stories to ensure all development tickets are requirements and acceptance criteria are fully understood by technical development teams
• Testing: Write UAT plans and QA completed development work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and aligns with business needs
• Training: onboard, train and empower regional teams on how to use Adobe MarTech stack
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed process documentation and best practices
• Compliance: Ensuring websites meet international legal requirements, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), web accessibility standards, and support OneTrust configurations
• Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and business implications to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Consensus building: Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate consensus among conflicting priorities and requirements.
Technical skills
• AEP platform: Hands-on configuration of AEP, AEP Data Collection (Adobe Launch), Web SDK, and applications like Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Journey Optimizer, AEM or Real-Time CDP
• Tag management: Architect and maintain scalable tagging structures across web and mobile platforms using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or Adobe Launch.
• Data Layer Management: Define and document data layer specifications to ensure consistent data capture across digital properties.
• Web forms: Build web forms with complex routing logic with AEP integration to downstream systems CRM and AJO
• Schema: design data-model schemas to unify first-party data
• Compliance and Privacy: enforce technical standards for data hygiene , consent, and regional privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
Soft skills
• Stakeholder engagement: serve as a liaison between regional stakeholders and technical delivery teams
• Change leadership: support teams and people through change by communicating the path forward, the process steps and value of change
• Adaptability: able to adjust operations, processes and mindsets in response to stakeholder feedback, leadership guidance or unexpected challenges
• Project management: manage and track all work within ADO and Asana Kanban boards
• Flexibility: capable of working flexible hours to host meetings which accommodate European and Asia working hours
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of website operations experience working with Adobe MarTech (AEP, AJO, CDP, CJA preferred) in a B2B and B2C marketing department
• Hands-on proficiency with AEP, AEP Data Collection (Adobe Launch), Web SDK, and applications like Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) or Real-Time CDP .
• Experience working in agile delivery
• Experience managing and tracking all work in project management software (e.g. ADO, Asana)
• Experience managing complex web forms
• Experience with website analytics and reporting
• Experience working with international marketing teams
• Familiar with usability testing practices and methodologies
• Familiar with HTML/CSS
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Strong organizational and presentation skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and manage priorities, present, and share strategies, working across organizational teams to deliver results.
Additional Information
Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $130,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
