  • Facilitate demand planning and provisioning meetings with designated sales region to discuss mine plans, part & components needs.  Relay service (CEP/R&R) needs to service planning analyst.
  • Action forecasting in SAP/IBP at a customer level to optimize service and working capital to provide maximum parts & service to customers from nearest Komatsu warehouse.
  • Work with varying departments, manufacturing, and service facilities to identify and utilize E&O inventory within region.  Scrap inventory if necessary.
  • Oversee a product group at a AMNO level and maintain inventory controls.
  • Effectively coordinate pro-share inventory related information with regional business partners.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customers' internal organization and operations.  Recommending methods of handling specific customer situations to Management.
  • Provide service to sales and international groups such as customer information, machine populations, product changes, sales dollars and volume reports, where-used information, backorder reports etc.
  • Provide awareness to management of changes in customer policies and attitudes as they relate to parts marketing and customer service.
  • Plan and administer special customer projects such as the stratification programs, vendor stocking, consignment, and other individual customer stocking projects.
  • Manage Engineering Changes (ECM) and take appropriate action to ensure all inventory is at the correct revision level in SAP/IBP.
  • Ability to analyze and report data related to the Supply Chain/inventory management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization.
  • Conduct meetings with various departments, manufacturing and service centers.
  • Work on various projects and other responsibilities as needed.
  • Travel approximately 5% of the time to warehouses, service centers, customer mine sites, and other Komatsu locations.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Business or Inventory related discipline required or
  • Three to five years of supply chain inventory management experience in Strategy/Forecasting. 
  • Proficiency with inventory management/ computer  programs required (i.e. SAP, IBP, PowerBI, Microsoft Office/Excel, Salesforce, Power Point)
  • Three to five years’ experience in project management and forecasting in an industrial work environment.
  • Ability to read/review electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings. 
  • Proficient communication skills: verbal and written.
  • APICS certification preferred.
