Job Purpose
You will have the opportunity to work and apply practical knowledge of mining operations with data from the main mining companies in Brazil that optimize their operations with Modular Ecosystem, aligned with our purpose and values. In the team's daily routine, work is carried out with technical and performance knowledge on mine restrictions, cycle times, cost per ton moved, equipment and fleet matching, loading and excavation rates, speed performance in mine sections, key performance indicators, auxiliary equipment, technical specifications, acquisition costs and operating costs, blasting plan and drilling grids in open-pit mines, polygons and mining projects, progress line, maintenance trend curves, among others.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring clients' Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for productivity improvement.
- Provide support in creating technical presentations and documenting technical proposals.
- Collaborate in the development of operational best practices in conjunction with clients.
- Participate in projects related to Modular products such as DISPATCH, ProVision, MineCare, New Apps and others, under supervision.
- Support change management activities for the implementation of new systems.
- Assist in mining consulting services related to the Intellimine® product suite.
- Aid in system assessments, engineering analyses, performance analyses, and benchmarking services.
- Create SQL queries for data analysis and report generation using the MS SQL Server system.
Required Skills
- Mining Engineering student, starting 6th semester.
- Interested in gaining experience in mining engineering and operations.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in English.
- It is important that the intern has an interest in mine operations, specially in load and haulage operation, grade control, mine planning and mine technology departments.
- Analytical soft skill.
Desired Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries and familiarity with the MS SQL Server reporting system.
- Desired skills for this role include a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A passion for innovation, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn are also highly valued.
