Job Purpose
As part of Komatsu’s software development team, the Front-End Developer Level II is responsible for developing and optimizing user interfaces for web applications, working under the guidance of senior developers. The role requires hands-on coding, participation in planning and executing front-end projects, and contributing to the design of robust, efficient, and scalable architectural solutions.

Travel Requirements
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement user interfaces, components, and features using JavaScript/TypeScript with a focus on performance and user experience.
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable front-end architectures using React.JS.
- Integrate front-end applications with back-end systems using WebAPI or Kafka.
- Utilize UX tools such as Figma to support the design process.
- Transform UI/UX prototypes into responsive, high-quality web applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Research and propose improvements based on emerging front-end technologies.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in Portuguese with internal teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of professional software development experience.Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency in React.JS and familiarity with Spring frameworks.Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Integration experience using WebAPI or Kafka.
- Proficiency with Git, including Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub.Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Fluency in English (required)
