The Company

Job Purpose

This role ensures high service quality by providing technical leadership, coordinating the team, driving process improvements, and supporting customers—contributing to the overall performance, reliability, and safety of deployed solutions.

Travel Requirements

• Domestic Travel: Approximately 35%
• International Travel: Approximately 5%
• On-site presence may be required for system installations, troubleshooting, training, and customer support in mining operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily technical support activities and hardware lab operations
  • Supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of embedded systems in mining equipment
  • Oversee setup of LAN, Wi-Fi, radio, and GPS/GNSS communication systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Monitor team performance and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved
  • Deliver technical training for internal teams and customers
  • Maintain technical documentation, maintenance plans, and project reports
  • Support global teams in resolving technical issues and improving solutions
  • Manage inventory and coordinate Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements
  • Ensure effective onboarding and training for new team members

Required Skills

  • Technical certification or degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, Industrial Automation, or related Engineering fields;

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded system installation and maintenance for mobile mining equipment;

  • Experience with preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices;

  • Strong understanding of LAN, radio networks, and wireless communication systems;

  • Experience with GPS/GNSS technologies;

  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics;

  • Skilled in the use of measurement tools and technical diagnostics;

  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, resources, contracts, and projects;

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and systems thinking approach;

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;

  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Modular Mining hardware systems or similar technologies;

  • Background in electronic maintenance specific to embedded mining systems;

  • Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2);

  • Knowledge sharing and training facilitation experience;

  • Passion for learning new technologies and expanding technical expertise;

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across departments and with customers.

 

Hiring Range
