Job Overview

This is a Field Tech position that is based out of the Baltimore, MD location.  You must possess a clean driving record.  You will be providing maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy construction equipment in the field or at customer locations.  It is a Monday thru Friday, day shift schedule.  The pay is up to $48.65 per hour DOE.

 

We are offering a sign on bonus up to $10,000 for this position.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Complete all work in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
  • Document machine information and repairs in the work order system.
  • Maintain a clean work area and professional care of all machines, equipment, and tools.
  • Identify and communicate additional repair and maintenance opportunities to management to increase customer uptime.
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold by the dealership.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures while performing work assignments.
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers, suppliers, and the community in a professional manner.
  • Participate in department and company meetings and provide input on continuous improvement opportunities to drive internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer support

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Technical School/Technical College or related work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in mechanical & electrical systems (engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, emissions components).
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a sufficient tool inventory to perform assigned tasks.
  • CDL preferred but not required for Field Tech role.
