Job Purpose

This role provides technical support for AHS (Autonomous Haulage System) software and related components, ensuring reliable, high-quality service in a fast-paced and innovative mining environment.You will work closely with advanced autonomous technologies, supporting real-world operations and contributing directly to system performance, efficiency, and safety.The position combines on-site and Help Desk support, system maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Travel Requirements

Availability to travel to mine sites according to project and customer requirements. This role involves regular on-site presence and is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on work in operational environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for AHS and FrontRunner systems
  • Support customers through the ticket portal, following established processes
  • Manage and resolve tickets requiring investigation, escalation, or extended troubleshooting
  • Ensure all ticket information is clear, accurate, and well documented
  • Remotely access systems to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Identify system issues, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities as part of daily activities
  • Restore system functionality within agreed SLA timelines
  • Deliver services aligned with project and contract requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Document solutions, enhancements, and best practices when applicable.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in technical support, IT operations, or related areas
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or MySQL databases
  • Basic understanding of computer networks
  • Strong communication skills for customer interaction
  • Intermediate to advanced English.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in mining operations or industrial environments
  • Experience with Dispatch® or fleet management systems
  • Experience with virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware)
  • Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Java or similar languages).
