  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes; ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial results.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, accruals, and intercompany transactions; resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  • Partner with operations to analyze variances in freight, handling, and distribution costs.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Provide variance analysis (actual vs. budget, forecast, and prior year) with actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Translate financial results into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Support ERP (SAP) and reporting system enhancements related to financial data.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across systems.
  • Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and compliance processes.
  • Support internal and external audit requests on a quarterly basis.
  • Document processes and drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a distribution or inventory-heavy environment.
