Job Overview

Op Shop Truck -

We are seeking a skilled Fork Truck Operator to move material throughout the facility and outside in various staging areas.  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in a safe and organized environment.

Shift: 2nd Monday-Friday

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Checks fuel, water, and oil levels and adds as needed.

  • Identifies incoming material in staging area and moves to assigned facilities.  Operates current technology to record put downs. 

  • Works closely with supervision to maintain production, and move completed or in process pieces to proper destination by using the routing/operations. 

  • Locates and delivers pallets and boxes as required.  Applies rust preventative to machined surfaces to all finished parts. Nitrogen tanks delivered to proper destination for refilling. 

  • Will be required to operate larger forklifts(App. 16,000 lbs), to move heavier items.  Scraps out material in proper hopper. 

  • Removal of scrap pallets and boxes and stage in proper location.  Chip conveyor will be utilized to properly dispose of chips. 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, including larger capacity forklifts up to approximately 16,000 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners and production tracking systems.
  • Ability to read and follow routing instructions, work orders, and operational procedures.
  • Strong attention to safety, organization, and material handling accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with production supervisors and team members.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the facility as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
