Job Purpose
This full-time entry-level position is based in our head office in Milton and provides technical support for our industry leading products in the Australasian region, with some travel to mine sites required.
The successful applicant will be required to gain skills in Modular Mining System's in-house programming language and have the opportunity to work across our robust product line, which optimize the entire mine, saving clients around the world millions of dollars each year and helping them exceed production goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
In this entry-level role you will be responsible for providing level 1-2 technical support through task assigned processes using deployments, updates, code changes, and testing to ensure product functionality and customer satisfaction. This role deploys systems using documentation, standards, outlined procedures and ensures proper installation and functionality.
- Providing technical customer support through task assigned processes to ensure product functionality.
- Diagnose root cause of problems, troubleshoot of issues/ repairs within agreed timeframes.
- Day time telephone support to resolve issues with our clients.
- Open and close support tickets.
- Deployment of systems may require travel to domestic and international mines and Modular Mining offices around the globe.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to analyse technical data and look for opportunities and solutions
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of computing languages such as C, C++, SQL and/or scripting languages
Desired Skills
- Network/Systems administration fundamentals
- Knowledge in programming fundamentals
- Relational database knowledge (SQL)
