Job Purpose

Providing first-level technical support for Modular Mining's products. Answering calls, identifying and solving problems with the systems or providing guidance to customers on how to use them.
We are looking for people with a keen analytical mind, who are quick learners and collaborative.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answering tickets within the established deadlines and quality standards
  • Investigate problems and identify root causes
  • Restoring system functionality in the shortest possible time
  • Understanding and documenting system functionalities and carrying out tests
  • Analyze code and/or replicate problems on the test bench
  • Deploy patches and system updates
  • Answering calls on call
  • Availability for travel.

Required Skills

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering (with a technological background desirable)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in customer service and technical support
  • Experience in programming languages desirable (C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, R, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environment administration
  • Minimum level of English required for the position: intermediate (reading, writing and speaking). Proficiency in English will be considered a plus.
