Job Overview
The position will be based in Wadeville, and the incumbent will report to the Foreman.
Job Specification (not totally inclusive):
- Isolate equipment and machinery and lockout and tagout when safe to perform any maintenance task,
- Perform the required planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure smooth, efficient operation of the plant and machinery,
- Perform fault finding and repairs on mechanical / electrical equipment,
- Perform daily and weekly inspection, record and report any deviation that may affect the operation of the plant,
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as assigned by the Maintenance Planner.
Minimum Skills required:
- Grade 12/Matric or equivalent,
- Millwright trade test (Red Seal),
- 3 years of relevant maintenance experience,
- Electrical High and Low Voltage skills,
- HT Switching experience.
