Job Overview
- Develop and sustain good working relationships with all customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service, by acknowledging and greeting all customers.
- Support both internal and external customers daily with quoting, parts pricing, availability and order entry.
- Continually maintain and expedite customer orders and quotations.
- Assists Outside Sale and Parts Product Support Representatives as required.
- Display a positive professional attitude to support high morale within the organization.
- Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all warehouse functions to ensure everyone goes home safely.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Process internal and external customer sales orders, expedite, and follow up.
- Provide customer quotes, pricing, and lead times.
- Interest in growing the parts business.
- Safety conscientious in all daily activities.
- Ability to act with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to track orders / shipments.
- Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Receive and put away stock orders and ship orders, as necessary.
- Read/interpret parts manuals and drawings.
- Process customer credits, as necessary.
- Assist with purchasing functions.
- Processes cores, warranties, and parts returns.
- Unload and load freight trucks and inspect freight for damage.
- Review daily open order reports and expediting.
- Review and approve freight bills.
- Review and verify will-call and back-order files.
- Perform cycle counts and bin check audits.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 2 years parts experience.
- Ability to read/interpret hard copy and electric parts manuals.
- Ability to listen and interpret customer needs.
- Ability to effectively speak one on one.
- Great organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic computer systems and use of Microsoft & Excel applications.
- A knowledge of CDK operating system a plus but not required.
- Inventory control knowledge.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift max of 75 lbs.
- Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

- Ability to multi-task.
- Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
- Attend and participate in weekly department safety meetings.
- Rotating on call weekends as required.
