Job Overview

Manages all aspects of the WMS system OnesLogi to ensure optimal performace of the system and related processes. The WMS Administrator will actively work with the warehouse maangement team and material handlers to contiuously seek ways to improve effieciency, develop reports, support cycle counting proceses, drive slotting and maintain uptime. In addition the WMS Administrator will provide proper training on system use to the required employees. Collaborates with local and overseas ICT to provide adequate support and resolution. Ensures accuate data integrity within the WMS and connected sytems. Scope of respoinsibilty is over two master PDC’s and eight satellite locations across North America.

 

Scope


This position is accountable for supporting approximately $500M in inventory accuracy, receiving function from 1,400 suppliers, covering 170,000 active part numbers. Ensure full operational system during business hours including some weekends. Supports 250 users in multiple locations. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manages all projects related to WMS system
  • Create and maintain master data, system setting and user access control
  • Engage with business leaders, users and partners to understand processes, needs, constraints and deliver solutions, enhancements and resolution of issues
  • Perform timely monitoring, administration, backups, performance tuning, problem resolution and user support for IT systems related to WMS
  • Train users on appropriate system use. Create and maintain user manuals, documentation and SOP
  • Configure and maintain handhelds, barcode machines and other tools related to WMS system
  • Communicate system changes to the users, including translating system functionality into business relevant language
  • Develop reports, extract requested information and reconcile data

Qualifications/Requirements

  • B.S. in IT or Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience administering Warehouse Management System/Supply Chain systems
  • Strong analytical skills using data
  • Good knowledge of Sql Server, Wireless and handheld systems
  • Experience with ERP systems, WMS or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain and warehousing process
  • Ability to mesh business requirements and system capabilities to drive improvements
  • Effective verbal/written communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
