Komatsu Parkhurst are currently seeking an experienced Painter to join our growing committed team. The person must have a can-do attitude, self-drive and great attention to detail. As a Painter with Komatsu you will have the opportunity to grow with the business and contribute to the organisations continuing success and work on a variety of Underground Mining equipment.

Your Knowledge:

Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application (preferable) and prior experience in: application/painting/coating of heavy machinery or similar relevant trade qualification
Preparation and masking of heavy machinery.
Work under Leading Hand in all tasks
Upskilling and/or cross training with co-workers
Meeting customer requirements and working to quality assurance requirements.
Sound knowledge of industrial 2 pack systems and single pack systems.
Experience in using and maintaining Airless Spray units, including diaphragm pumps.
Experience in Abrasive Blasting of heavy machinery.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to follow instructions and complete tasks unsupervised
Attention to detail
Be a good ‘team’ player
A commitment to work safe practices

Qualifications/Requirements

Forklift Ticket licence
Working at heights (not essential, however must be willing to obtain)
Confined space training (not essential, however must be willing to obtain)
Doggers ticket would be desirable (not essential, however must be willing to obtain)
