Key Job Responsibilities

  • Working Lead position responsible for directing hourly workforce, flexibility in working overtime and weekends if needed to accomplish goals, departmental milestones, and deadlines.
  • Supervise hourly workforce to Komatsu policies, procedures, 5S, and safety standards.
  • Oversee quality of work and keep Cost of Poor Quality low as set by Komatsu.
  • Coordinate Day-to-day operations of the Motor Rebuild Shop. This will include the RENEW application of Tear Down and Inspection thru Delivery.
  • Ensure equipment is in top working condition by doing audits and maintenance.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • (5-7) years of experience in related field (DC Motors, Transmissions, Cylinders Rebuilds). Safety focused planning and performing complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, machining drawings, and Komatsu operating procedures. Communication with Quality and Engineering will be needed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Conduct daily safety and planning meetings with your direct reports. Periodic inspections of tooling and PPE.
  • Proficient in a customer facing role.
