Job Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to support our Longview Operations Accounting department. This role will assist with internal and external accounting controls to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving and time management skills. Komatsu offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits and annual bonus/merit potential.

Key Job Responsibilities

Prepare, support, and track R&D Projects

Prepare, load, and present Engineering / R&D budgets and forecasts to leadership

Handle and maintain warranty transactions/reserves

Prepare monthly journal entries

Prepare general ledger account reconciliations

Prepare required analysis for external auditors as needed

Interact with staff on accounting related topics

Perform Fixed Assets reviews, CapEx and CEA related tasks

Review and audit internal controls

Prepares seasonal and monthly property and Use tax files

Maintain Lease Schedules

Handles A/P & GRIR related transactions

Perform special projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA and/or CMA preferred

2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing accounting processes and operations

. Computer skills and related software training

Experience working with SAP production management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc
