Job Overview
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Arrange and purchase outside raw materials, finished products, capital items and services.
2. Interface with vendors to obtain information concerning purchased products such as pricing, delivery specifics, service agreements/contracts.
3. Maintain compliance and record retention of quotes, purchases, contracts, etc.
4. Execute Global Guidelines, procedures and policy requirements for all contracts, purchases of both products/services.
5. Negotiate business related purchasing contracts with service-orientated vendors for operational needs.
6. Manage System orders/data entry for tools, materials, and supplies for Homer City .
7. Expedites orders to ensure OTD.
8. Interfaces with multiple Komatsu sites for best practices and procedures and implement onsite (leaders, vendors, office personnel, warehouse and operation personnel).
9. Manage outbound commodities.
10. Manage MRO purchasing activities
Qualifications/Requirements
- The position requires a 4-year degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field. Or 5-7 years of Heavy Manufacturing or Industrial type of experience.
- 3-5 years Komatsu supply chain management experiences in purchases and inventory systems in Industrial environments
- 2-4 years experience in contract administration and term agreements
- 2-4 years experience in a Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO)
- 1-3 years experience working in partnership and coordination with accounting i.e. invoice reviews/inventory management/cost accounting of inventory and purchases.
- 1-3 years experience in Supply Chain Management Systems and other business related systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient communication skills
