Job Overview

The Project Manager will lead the successful planning, development, deployment, and execution of diverse projects within our Mining Technology Solutions organization, with a focus on Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) and integrated technologies. This includes managing deployment activities across the North American region, driving adoption, and ensuring customer success through world-class project delivery. Projects will vary in scope, complexity, and deliverables, requiring strong leadership, technical acumen, and customer focus.

Key Job Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will face new challenges and opportunities to grow your skills daily. Key responsibilities include: 

 

  • Driving deployment and change activities to enable high availability and productivity of AHS and integrated technologies. 
  • Managing cross-functional teams to fulfill project deliverables, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external suppliers. 
  • Monitoring project progress, proactively communicating with stakeholders, and identifying and mitigating risks before they impact project plans. 
  • Preparing and delivering executive-level updates and communication on project status, progress, risks, and budget. 
  • Scoping, initiating, executing, and closing projects while mitigating impacts of change within both internal and customer operations. 
  • Managing project revenue, costs, scope, and negotiating variations or changes to ensure financial targets are met. 
  • Promoting and instilling an Agile culture, facilitating SCRUM ceremonies and technical meetings to address challenges and assess progress. 
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and support to project team members while fostering collaboration and innovation. 
  • Proactively analyzing and improving project management processes, tools, and resources to optimize performance. 
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, handling moments of truth effectively, and maintaining a customer-first approach. 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied sciences, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Effective leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams to success. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to distill meaningful information for various audiences. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills with a focus on delivering practical, creative solutions. 
  • Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders (internal and external) to drive beneficial outcomes. 
  • Strong understanding of project deployment processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices. 
  • 3+ years of project management experience, including leading mid-sized, low to medium complexity technology projects using Agile methodologies. 

Additional Information

Desired Skills: 

 

  • Demonstrated success delivering complex technology solutions involving software, hardware, and integrated systems using Agile frameworks (SCRUM, SAFe, Kanban). 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMP® Certification preferred. 
  • Customer-focused experience with a proven track record of achieving high customer satisfaction.
