Job Overview
Reports to: Regional Manager, Eastern Canada
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hours
Location: Timmins or Sudbury, Ontario
Relocation: Relocation eligible within Canada
Key Job Responsibilities
- Partner with customer’s senior management team to maintain existing long-term relationship and support the marketing and sales of equipment, parts, and services
- Establish and maintain strong lines of communication to understand the customer’s operations, equipment needs, maintenance schedules/plans, and practices
- Maintain Komatsu’s brand reputation as a mining partner in the region by demonstrating strong support and reliability towards the customer
- Formulate accurate and timely equipment and service forecasts, pricing, quality, estimates and utilization reports
- Develop short, medium and long-term strategic plans ensuring alignment of equipment, parts and services to support the customer’s future mining operations
- Respond in a timely fashion to customer inquiries related to all account matters such as products, parts and parts planning, availability issues, invoicing, equipment safety, warranty, and contract matters
- Provide product and service support using value added selling techniques to maximize sales and profitability
- Develop and maintain client data utilizing customer relationships management (CRM) software
- Ensure customer follow up and satisfaction within area of primary responsibility
- Comply with Komatsu and customer safety policies/procedures and applicable regulatory, customer or industry requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be self-motivated with sales driven attitude
- 5 + years of parts and/or operations experience with continuously expanding professional experience
- 5 years’ experience working directly in sales focused or similar account management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)
- General Heavy Equipment knowledge, with basic mechanics, hydraulics, and electric knowledge
- Proven and demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers as well as the public
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills with a strong ability to communicate at multiple levels
- Strategic thinker - strong ability to see opportunities and ability to convert into added value proposal for our clients
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders at multiple levels
- SAP and solid MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
