Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a SharePoint Analyst Developer to join our global IT Team. This role could be located at our Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O’Hare) office. We offer a hybrid work schedule (2 days per week in the Milwaukee or Chicago office for collaboration, team meetings, working sessions, etc. and up to 3 days per work can be telecommuting from your home office).

In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support for Komatsu’s SharePoint environment including assessment and implementation of new capabilities and identifying opportunities to use SharePoint technology to address business needs.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for administrative activity pertaining to the maintenance of our SharePoint environment and responds to production problems and outages in a timely manner.
  • Apply knowledge of the business to existing and new SharePoint sites and applications development, resulting in superior application usability and high-end user productivity.
  • Lead team projects and development requests to understand the business ask, gather requirements, implement solutions, document process and procedures, and support them post go-live. 
  • Implement, enforce, and use current programming practices and tools, such as SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Nintex Workflow and Forms to build custom applications and provide estimates of resources required to complete tasks.
  • Help identify operational requirements for servers, disk storage, workstation specifications, networks, etc.
  • Design, document, and test developed applications and packaged solutions to ensure functional accuracy while considering process recovery
  • Work with user groups, support organizations and suppliers to resolve problems and acquire information required to conduct department activities


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of related SharePoint administration / developer experience
  • 1+ years of experience developing applications using SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Flow, PowerApps, and Nintex Workflow and Forms
  • Ability to connect with business users and actively teach the SharePoint technology
  • Ability to comprehend technical documents
  • Proficient problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm in situations involving stress, deadlines, or upset third parties and lead the group to make decisions that are in the best interest of all involved parties
  • Ability to establish and manage priorities of yourself and subordinates
  • Ability to create and meet deadlines on a timely basis
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with managers, peers, and subordinates
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks
  • A demonstrated track record of implementing systems through the entire lifecycle, including analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and support
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate both, verbally and written
  • Able to develop strong working relationships with team members and the user community
  • Ability to juggle competing tasks and quickly adapt as business needs are shifted
