Job Location: Qingdao

 

Major Responsibilities:

  1.   Prepare layouts, CAD models, related drawings, and bills of material and release production information to provide specifications for customer orders and/or development requirements. Complete this task without supervision on standard designs.

 
  1. Conduct investigations, perform complex calculations, and run tests as required to provide data for decisions in support of item #1 with minimum supervision required.

 
  1. Organize work and/or projects and if directed act as group leader for design or process.

 
  1. Attain cost target for newly designed assemblies as assigned.

 

 

  1. Participate in programmes with Joy globally to ensure effective communication on all relevant engineering issues and adoption of global engineering standards, ensuring compliance of products & services with global & regional requirements in terms of design and safety.

 

Requirements:

  1. A 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant discipline required.

 
  1. Post qualification of  3 to 5 years machine design experience are required.

 
  1. Some experience in machine application or application of technical expertise is expected.

 
  1. Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) tools.

 
  1. Underground mining especially longwall mining work experience is highly preferred.
  1. Powered roof support and hydraulic experience will be beneficial
