Job Purpose

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of all technical staff on site and the day to day work-flow of all workshop activities whilst ensuring a high level of professionalism and safety at all times.


This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position based at Brendale QLD.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote genuine and meaningful safety interactions and positively encourage team members to ensure a very well organised, safe and productive environment.
  • Plan and schedule all workshop activities to ensure productivity targets and business deliverables are met.
  • Supervise and coordinate all technical staff including providing leadership, guidance, training and coaching.
  • Work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure expectations and service level agreements are met.
  • Provide first-level engagement with team members on performance, conduct and productivity issues, absenteeism, leave requirements and associated matters.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience supervising a team in a workshop environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, production and technical repairs with a proven track record of achieving positive operational outcomes
  • Understanding of safety principals (ideally 5S Methodology)
  • Strong people leadership and engagement skills with the ability to build a collaborative working environment
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Computer literate

Desired Skills

  • Experience with planning and scheduling software application
  • Electrical trade qualification
