About the role:

 

Reporting to the Remuneration & Benefits Manager, you’ll be joining a global OEM in a national payroll team of four specialists.  

 

This highly dedicated and capable team are responsible for multiple weekly and monthly pay runs, and support Komatsu Underground’s three workshop facilities, a distribution centre and two corporate offices. 

 

Your main responsibilities include payroll processing, documentation, auditing. 

 

As a payroll subject matter expert, you’ll be the go-to for all things superannuation and taxation and will be abreast of any legislative changes in these areas.  

 

Joining a global brand gives you exposure to working within international reporting and compliance guidelines, and input into wider organisational improvement projects.  

 

Requirements for success:

 

•    Relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications 
•    5 years experiencing working within payroll operations across a large, complex Payroll environment;  
•    In-depth experience with computerized payroll and time and attendance systems (SAP, Preceda, Kronos highly regarded) 
•    Knowledge of various industrial awards and their application e.g: Manufacturing, Clerical, Engineering, Black Coal   
•    Detailed understanding of Superannuation and Taxation legislation
