Job Overview

This position will support Dealer engagement related activities for all business segments including but not limited to Construction, Mining, Forestry and Komatsu Academy to achieve strategic opportunities, alignment, and dealer accountability. This role plays a key role in monitoring the competitive environment to identify key trends and strategic business opportunities. Will also provide support to the organization to identify strategic opportunities for improved dealer financial and business performance as well as identify and implement standardized process efficiency improvements. Will be responsible for managing Komatsu Academy commercial and financial activities, and partner with finance.

 

This role will develop and analyze scorecards to present to management for strategic initiatives. This will include developing benchmarking and trend analysis reports to analyze dealer performance, preparing financial analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the dataanalysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Works with the dealers and Komatsu business units to develop effective scorecards and maintains data to ensure accuracy and ease of use. Will use data analytics to assist with business planning and regional analysis which may include operational results, KPI’s and engagement with dealers and business units. Will respond to ad hoc business requirements for management and prepare ad hoc reports providing recommendations / conclusions to management.
  • This position will work with Komatsu business units to clarify and set policies, standards relevant to our distribution network.
  • Develops tools that support; "What if " scenarios/modeling, Risk analysis, KPI alerts, Peer to peer comparison, Trend analysis and scorecards. Supports Komatsu Academy, Training activities and the Cartersville facility as it relates to supporting CAPEX projects and Komatsu Academy financial targets.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience required.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to influence engagement across multiple business units to achieve alignment.
  • Experience with dealer engagement, relationships, and accountability is a plus.
  • Must be able to understand and interpret financial results.
  • Must have the ability to understand dealer operations.
  • Strong proficiency with reporting and demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Ability to build trust and relationships.
